Oh Yeahh! Go-getter,

Welcome to my blog;

Can you believe I started this blog more than a year ago? That was in a dreamland. …lol (Procrastination is such a dream killer). I would be far ahead in this journey already but I guess its “better late than never”. So, here I am just starting..…Yippee Ki-yay. I want to believe you have once felt accomplished just starting something you never thought you could do. Having a blog seemed very scary prolly because I thought I’m horrible at creative writing, I think I still am. But you never know without trying so I feel elated to dare.

Lest I bore you with all the excitements… my name is Hungwa Esther, Nigerian and I am the creative behind Thepetitet, a personal space where I’d be sharing with you some of my dream aspirations I’m hoping you would love. Being a very ambitious person, I always knew I wanted something extra to add to what academics offered but definitely had to be something to brighten my uneventful lifestyle. Eventually, embracing my love for fashion, tailoring and photography, I hope to make it purposeful yet fun activity, crux of the blog.

Primarily, the thepetitet would be my medium for self-motivation and self-improvement. Being no authority or perfectionist, I want to be able to always push myself towards refining and developing my pieces into a product line using photography as a tool for showcase while also expressing my style in the process.

On here, you would find post about my style outfits incorporating self-made pieces. Amidst, there will be tips on simple tailoring DIYs for my audience who may decide to style their looks without having to reach deep into their wallets. Another thing you can learn here is basic photography tips and occasionally, favorite shots of my photography work for your viewing pleasure.

If  you are very ambitious and a dreamer like me which I believe you are, do stick around and walk me through this transition. You may find inspiration to dare take that ride to your chosen destination of living your most desired and deserved life.

I love being inspired too in all life aspects, so would love if you let me know what you are up to in the comment box or subsequent posts. You can as well drop me a mail at

Will as much as possible try to update content on weekly basis.

Dare to live your most desired and deserved lives Go-getters. I am back with you here next post.

Much love
